No Lyft, No Uber, No Taxi?!:

In Thermopolis we haven’t quite caught up with the rest of the world in regards to transportation options but we do have rental cars!

Mechanical misfortunes:

If your vehicle decides to leave you walking so that it can spend some time being pampered at the local mechanic or even the nearest dealership we have cars for you to rent while you wait for yours to be convinced to return to service.

Unfortunate encounters:

Ouch! You just met some of our resident wildlife up close and personal and your car needs to go to the body shop. We are here to make the collision repair experience a little less painful by renting you another set of wheels while you wait for the magic to be worked on your car to bring it back to its former glory. P.S. although your insurance company may not have heard of us yet, you can be sure that we will work with them once they do!

Visitors from above:

For those flying in to Hot Springs County Airport to visit “The World’s Largest Mineral Hot Spring” in Hot Springs State Park, the world class Wyoming Dinosaur Center or to fish for some Blue Ribbon trout in the nearby Wind River Canyon there are cars conveniently located next to the airport terminal building for your rental needs.

How Much?:

I knew you would ask…
The base rate for our rental cars is $50/day with a 6% sales tax and a 4% DOT surcharge added to that for a total daily rate of $55/day. For a list of possible additional charges please see the sample rental agreement.

The “fine print”:

Renters need to be 25 years of age or older, have a valid drivers license and insurance coverage on at least one of their personal vehicles that will extend coverage to the rental vehicle. Please note that our cars are can only be driven within the great State of Wyoming or to Billings, MT and must be returned to Thermopolis for the next customer. More details can be found on the sample rental agreement.
